It's just so unfair.
Rich people gets richer by the day, which means poor people gets poorer by the day :/
We are creating a world of inequalities.

Work meeting: Done.
Did not turn exactly as I expected, but not so bad either.
Now time to start preparing work stuff before the classes being.

I don't know about speeding tickets. Because that's a fine, and maybe that would work differently. I don't know.

But everybody has the right to have a proper safety net in life - even if it's a humble life.
Everybody has the right to a home, some may live in small apartments and others in mansion. But it's amoral that some people don't have a roof over their heads.
Everybody has the right to be fed, some may eat basic food and others may eat caviar and ostrichs. But it's amoral leaving a person to starve.
Everybody has the right to be treated by a doctor, some may only get medical treatments and others may get fancy suites nicely decorated and fresh flowers. But it's amoral letting a peolpe die just because they can't pay a hospital bill.

Fortunately we don't have that problem here, nobody starves to death nor dies without a medication.
Homelessness does exist though. There are places for homeless people but I've heard they are not great, and they usually prefer wandering than staying there.


Well, when you pay for something there are plenty of hidden expensives.
When you go to the dentist you are paying for his time, which is worth a lot because he must pay the loans he got to study in college. So his hourly cost is way more than, let's say, a mechanic.
You're also paying a share on the rent of the stablishment, of the salary of the people attending outside, of the electric bill, etc. Which must be paid in order to have a dentist at all.

Of course, a bag of tea costs a few cents, but I know ordering a tea in a bar will 20x its price. That's the same reason.

Also expensiveness is relative.
I mean, $400 might sound a lot. But how much do you spend in leisure (here and games) in a year? How much does that sum up in the last 5 or 10 years?
You don't pull a tooth off every year, but it gives not pleasure. When you spend money in pleasurable stuff you don't regret it as much.

Yeah, food is not only for the body, is also meant for the soul.
In Mediterranean countries the kitchen is traditionally the heart of the house, because around food is when every member of the family gathers.
Being deprived of a proper table and food to share with others is cruel.


It's a point of view.
For me it is all relative. I may spend money on some things just because they fulfill me in a sense, while I'm not so happy about others that feel as a burden or an obligation.

$400 sounds like too much for a tooth pulled indeed, but my knowledge of dental procedures is quite small and I'm not a good judge anyway.
