Sometimes toys can help. Now if they're a distraction, that's a bad thing.
I know that personally that I learn better when I have something to fidget with. Just listening to people drone really messes me up.

Does it cause concentration problems too?
Or is it just because it's hard to read and that makes it frustrating so it takes extra energy to concentrate?

Ah okay. I was wondering because there are many types of aphasia (I have a couple myself).
Dyslexia can be linked with concentration/can lessen concentration from what I heard.
