I'm waiting for it to release in Canada myself...;3; last I checked (last night), it hasn't been released yet...>3< I'd probably only be able to use it at places with wifi though...xD;; since I don't have a smartphone...xD so like certain areas in malls, coffee shops, home, work.....xD;;

I went out for a bit yesterday and found that the cemetery near my house hosts two gyms and four pokespots. I haven't seen what the park/lake has but there's a good number of spots in that direction.

A bit disappointed in the game right now. I live on a farm in a rural area and there are very few Pokemon that show up in rural areas. I guess most of my playing will have to take place in town next week.

i got an even better story. my neighbourhood has been plagued by break-ins lately, so the local police station has started a whatsapp (texting service) group to alert the ppl living here about any suspicious activity. yesterday, my mom got a message saying that "there's two young men walking around the neighbourhood with their smartphones, constantly checking something. keep an eye out." someone walked up to them to inquire what they were doing and messaged the group: "it's a smartphone game, pokemon go or something?" i thought it was funny x)

i usually walk the dog for 15 min or so, yd and this morning we had hour long walkies with good success. there is a gym nearby but i haven't gone there yet. i think its the supermarket?

man, i'm sorry to hear that :s hope you'll land a good haul next week!

No Pokemon spawn at my house, it's too far out in the country. Went in to the nearest town today with family to get groceries... 2 gyms, 3 Pokestops and 23 caught Pokemon later...
My mom is awesome. She doesn't understand the game at all but she offered to waste time in town to look for more Pokemon, she keeps offering to slow down in the car so I can get things to spawn, or to pull over at a Pokestop. XD

I've caught most of my Pokemon with the incense. I caught 5 or 6 with each use. I may have to buy more of them just to use out here in the boonies.

Wooly: ROFLMAOO THAT'S HILARIOUSSSSSSS! XD There's gonna be a LOT more "suspicious" people wandering around neighbourhoods as PokemonGo gets pushed out in more countries! XDDDDDD

Pyrakitt: YOUR MOM IS AWESOME. XD The fact that she would waste time with you and support you as you run off to be a pokemon trainer is great! XD

@Hotarla: I'm so stoked over it. She offered to do all that without me saying anything. I thought I was going to have to have a super awkward conversation about needing to be dropped in town for a few hours just to wander in circles staring at my phone. lol I'm starting to think she's trying to be a Pokemon Master vicariously since she can't game.
We had a joking conversation about her taking my phone with her to work to hatch my 10km egg, she easily puts in over 12k steps a day at work, but I can't be without my phone while at my work so...
