I was able to collect eggs earlier, but now I keep getting logged out every time I click anything. Is there any way the event could be extended? 100 eggs per day was reasonable, but with all the time we lost, things don't look too good right now.

I thought it was a lucky coincidence that the move to the new server was now, but that explains a lot.
Poor starkad, that sounds like lots of work in a really short time. And it sucks that you have to pay something you can not use. -__-

I'm hoping the event is extended, too... Partially just because each item takes a lot of eggs, it seems, and I only have 16. And haven't bought anything yet. Nor have I found anyone selling them. x.x
Also, when I saw Merry's quoted "Don't. Blink." message, I got this mental image of the weeping angels roaming around kofk. Was a scary image. ...Now I wanna go see Merry's sig!
(for those who don't get what I mean, the weeping angels are from Doctor Who. Best advice for dealing with them is "Don't blink", as they can only move when you're not looking at them.)

I'm sorry for taking things off-topic though.
I'm so, so sorry.
Anyway, the server seems to be functioning normally again at the moment, so it'd be fantastic if the event could be extended... not holding out too much hope though.

I really really wanted this type of event to try it, but now I can't wait for it to finish... if the price to pay for some days of funny eggs collection is two weeks of lag well, I don't like it
There are days that I don't do almost anything here... I want KOfK back to normality...
Obviously this is a complaining for cheaters, not for Firn or Stakard!!!

I wish the event could be extended. I understand you don't want the lag to extend, but... there was the server collapse and the problem with log-in where a lot of people were having trouble staying logged in. Including me.

Yes, but these problems were caused by the event! So by extending the event we would just be extending the problems.
I am absolutely not willing to risk for the new server to collapse too. It would mean the end of KOfK.
We simply cannot afford it, we are already currently paying double already, both for the old servers as well as the new server and user donations aren't nowhere near bringing in the normal running costs, yet alone the money for the extra costs.

I fully understand that extending the event would be "dangerous".
I'm probably not the first one to suggest it, but how about giving each member a certain amount of eggs "for free" to compensate the lag and make the event enjoyable ?
Could that be an idea ? The cheaters would get eggs as well, but eh, if it can help the 99% honest players...

Or maybe cut the prices at the Bunny Den or something so we can try and get at least some items? Just... make it not impossible to do the event?
