She's such a sweetie. And so sassy, too. She probably would love my patio, if only we were in the same country. I miss her a lot.

Goodness thats so far away :( My mom sold my conure when I moved. It still hurts me so bad that I couldn't grow up with my BFF.

That's so sad. I hope your conure went to a good home, at the very least.

I know Father in Law treats Churppy (he named her) very well. Husband says it's the longest relationship his father has ever been in. :qlol: They (my husband and FIL) went to Hawaii together and I got to birdsit Churppy and the day they came back FIL sent us a picture of Churppy pressing her little head against FIL's cheek like a cat might. It was very cute, and very obvious how much she loves him and missed him.

I know for sure that when I get my own place I'm going to have birb again. They're such good companions.

They are very sweet and cute. Very messy, though. Although, Churppy loved being in my shirt and yet, she never pooped on me while she was in my shirt. Only ever ON my shirt while she was perched out of my shirt. And she always goes to the windows and poops on the newspapers there at my FIL's home. So I suppose they can be trained. Of course, I think they sometimes make messes on purpose. When she was mad at me, she'd go to her food bowl and start whipping seed everywhere. It was hilarious. Such a sassy bird.

It seems a lot of people feel that way. At least, my parents were both afraid of her. She's super sweet, though. All she wants to do is to be on you.

I like birds. My boyfriend's grandma has a green parrot that can talk. He's used to talking to people, he isn't used to talking to a fellow mimic! He squawked at me, I squawked perfectly back, and the LOOK this parrot gave me. He spoke human for like 15 minutes straight after that. XD

Ahaha! That's amazing! Father-in-law's lovebird loves to talk to people, too, but she usually chirps at the same time others are talking. So it can get kind of chaotic if you're trying to have a conversation around her.
