I like that it feels full without a background but I still feel like something's missing but I don't know what.

I love the wings, and the serenity of the expression, but for some reason the color choices seem very flat? I really don't know why, since Periwinkle always seems a vibrant color when contrasted against something darker. But like this, with other paler pastel shades and nothing to contrast, it just seems... flat.
Which is unexpected.
Maybe if the seadancer background (I think that's the SeaDancer background) or the skin were a dark tone it would make everything pop a little more and bring it back to life? I don't know....
