I can understand the dedication to save up for a character you like!
Been saving for Kazuha for half a year as well. (Finally got my wandering ronin and lost 50\50)

I'm on Europe server too bad I can't help. i really like playing in coop.
But at least I can try to answer some questions as guides and lore nerd lol.

I wish there was server hopping or something.

I saved up full 180, so it's all good now (though 160 of them were gone)
Also I didn't like any of upcoming Sumeru characters much so now I can just relax and not to worry about primogems for some time haha.
But yeah, losing 50\50 sucks!
Hope you will win with Childe when he comes back. I actually started playing the last week of his banner.

@Tartaglia, You should wait until you have decently strong characters before attempting an ascension, anyways. Don't wanna end up under-leveled when faced with stronger opponents, after all! I myself spent quite a while deeply regretting doing the last ascension quest because I only had shit weapons and artifacts, and had never leveled my talents, and basic battles always took forever. No longer the case, obviously, but it was terrible at the time. xDDD

And don't forget that you also get Primos from events, quests and other sources! So you'll end up with plenty of wishes eventually! But I'm gonna hope for your sake that you win the 50/50, we all know how awful it is not to!

And not to be a bummer, but you did technically miss a lot, lol. But it's all good, the Golden Archipelago has come back and you'll have all the future events to look forward to, as well!

Oh yeah, I still remember last ascension.
I was unable to do it (dying in the in the middle with not enough food lol) before I got Zhongli and leveled him somehow.

Still hate doing stuff without shield lol.

Oh boy, I'm never giving up my Zhongli, he belongs in my team forever. I need a shield at all times, I freaking suck at dodging, lol.

I never had a problem with the actual ascension quests, though, just what came after.

Ahahaha yeah... Spent all day gathering violetgrass and... the treasure hoarder things for Kaeya and Xinyan. XD Just learned Diluc is Batman.

I would love a Zhongli. XD But priorities to Childe.

I...am gonna buy the Diluc skin even though I don't have Diluc. XD Hopefully paypal doesn't flag my transactions cause I just... bought like 4 welkin packs. XD

There are some other shield-character options available as 4* so you don't have to rearrange your priorities.
Zhongli will always have re-runs anyway since he's one of the top-tier profit makers lol.

Insignias from treasure hoarders is forever farm hah. I need them for 3 characters now. Endless grind.

You got Xinyan from the beginner banner?
I completely fell in love with her as a character after the current event! She is so cool.

I think I got Xinyan from just pulling on Itto's banner when I first started last month.

Later today I'm gonna work on chests and amenoculus gathering in Mondstadt for easy primos.
