We had the opposite happen! XD They only liked one of the pieces. Oh no. Not the rocks. XD My dad bought some peaches today and made the mistake of setting them on the floor. Max stole one and was using it as a ball. XD

I took a DNA test and found out that I'm 88% English, 11% Irish/Scottish, and 1% Basque. The 1% Basque was a surprise and I don't know if it's reliable since it's such a small percentage. I tend to think it might be though because I have AB- blood and a lot of Basque people have that. Anyway, I was with a Filipino for a few years and he asked me about my heritage. I said I think I just come from a long line of white people, which he found incredibly funny. The DNA test confirmed my suspicions. XD

How do you feel about it when they call you Ash? I hate it when people call me Stac. I don't even consider that a nickname. I think they're just too lazy to say Stacie. XD

That's interesting. Maybe you could get a DNA test done sometime. I thought we were all kinds of things based on what my dad's mom said. Hardly any of it showed up in the test. However, we could still have ancestors from where she said but they just aren't showing up on the test. Once the percentage gets small enough it doesn't show up and it doesn't take as long as you might think for this to happen. I think I read somewhere that within 150 years or so it could drop off to an undectable level because it's a gamble how much you inherit anyway. My dad had 3% Norwegian on his but it didn't show up on mine. *shrugs* I still have Norwegian ancestors but you can't tell from the test.

Get your blood tested if you get the chance, it's a good thing to know if case you ever need a blood transfusion. When my son was born there was a large B on his basinet. I asked them if it was for boy but they said it was his blood type. XD Otherwise I doubt I'd know his.

I thought I had a ton of German in me based on what I was always told, my mom's maiden name is very German. It didn't show up in the DNA test though. My mom was the one who was supposed to take it but she chickened out. She said she couldn't spit that much or she'd get sick. XD
