Well, not eating sandwich because you hate bread makes sense in my head at least.

One thing everyone always thought strange is me don't liking Nutella.

I've never eaten Nutella, I don't think. It wasn't a thing my parents ever bought. I don't think I even heard of it until college. Knowing the ingredients, I'm pretty sure I would love it though. However, my roommate also does not like it.

My mother loved it.
But it's true that my mother didn't really buy what she considered "unnecessary" things or things that she didn't know (hence why I waited to be 18 to even have an avocado XD)

haha, my mom was like that too. Didn't like to treat me and my brothers to thinks like toaster strudels when we could just eat cereal. I kinda imagine Nutella as a breakfast food anyway.

I like jam but I'm a bit particular. I grew up with homemade stuff so it's a bit difficult sometimes with balance and all.

I don't like maple syrup though and many people think it's weird that I eat pancakes without.

Getting cereal was a fight in itself XD
Breakfast at home was so boring I had a long time I didn't eat any.

I put butter and sometimes blackberry jelly on pancakes if I must eat them. Prefer waffles. But yeah, syrup is overrated unless you're getting the good stuff. Real maple and all. Actually, breakfast is overrated. I prefer to skip straight to lunch.

I don't think I've ever had the real stuff.

I tend to use blackberry jelly as well. My mother made some for me.
Lately, I haven't been skipping breakfast. I tend to wake up early and waiting for lunch would kill me.

People say it tastes different, especially depending on the syrup type, but idk, there's a lot of stuff where the smallest change makes a big difference for some but for others like me, there's no difference
