lol.. she has big hair because I intended her to be a bee, but then when i decided to change her color to orange, she turned out to be some sort of star.

Nova has the most awesome hair! I think I like the third stage best, though. The hair gets a bit too busy for my tastes after that. *adds to wishlist* I'll grab her after her price drops a bit. 3100 food at the moment, yowza. X(

Update: I'm working on my arctic fox Knuffel now. Here's the current version of the first stage. Her hair is eventually going to turn into something like this just because I'm a detail masochist. The hair is based on the summer coat's color, and the ears and tail will be from the winter. See: Summer fox & winter fox.

I'm thinking of either naming her Alopex (species genus) or something from this list, like Anana (beautiful), Atka (guardian spirit), Mauja (soft deep snow), Nukka (younger sister), or Tanaraq (granddaughter of the tundra). Any thoughts? Does the name really matter that much? Could an unappealing name decrease your likelihood of adopting a wild knuffel?

Also, I'm worried that she looks old, because her hair is streaked with too much grey. I think I might tone down the highlights a little, but first I'd like to know if I'm just seeing her like that because I've been staring at her too long...
