I think there was at least one winter event that was a two parter. I know it wasn't always just a calendar but I can't actually remember what kind of event that was.

A lot of threads are dead so I find it hard to post (especially since we can't go to the spam category). And the items doesn't pop up nearly as often enough while digging, for example this morning I got 14 pastries out of 22 Knuffels (and all were above lvl 50)

Truth is the forum was really active for a few days, at the beginning of the event, and getting vegetables was kinda easy if you had time to be onine those few days.

But right now it's already slower, which means it's harder finding active threads you are interested in.

I think most hangouts are kinda random.
The general topic would be "this is my thread, come chat with me!" :D

Alternatively you could visit and join some existing hangouts.
There is just a couple of them which are private - and it's said so in the title. Everywhere else I'm quite sure you would be welcome.
And maybe that sounds "easier" than creating your own?

I think a lot of people already have the items or have reached event burn out. Even the really easy threads, like in the music forum, have gotten much slower. Honestly, I feel a bit burned out too so it's hard to put in the same amount of effort that I did in the first few days of the event.

I think you are right.
I'm chatty so for me chatting comes naturally
But for those who need to make an extra effort, indeed it's harder now.

But, yes, events like these are definitely easier when more people are talking!
