There are several 'refugees' from Gaia on here. I have never been on that site, and I haven't heard very good things about it either. Things here have been a bit dead lately, but hopefully it will pick up closer to spring when we have the event.

Ah yeah x-x I can see why!
They've become very money hungry.
I rather give my moolah to a site that doesn't bombard me with sales and ads 24/7
I also was a part of this site called SyndroneOnline? But the admins there were corrupt and used donations for the site to buy themselves personal things o: so I kinda packed up and left, but they seem to be doing better under a new admin.
And ooh a Spring event sounds fun *__*

That's pretty much what I've been hearing, too.
I'm trying to remember when the Spring Event was last year. Seems like it was in April, but I'm not sure. It was pretty fun! There are (usually) four events throughout the year: Spring, Summer, Halloween, and Christmas (called Doughnight on here). Then at Valentine's and St. Patrick's there are some (3?) freebie items.

Hi Kiseu ^^ Hope you're enjoying the site so far. This is the only site I ever donate to, mostly cause you get to actually see the donation bar and know the site owners, so you know how much the funds are appreciated.
My big day at work didn't go so well >.> I was out of the office all day so I couldn't get online, but basically my boss was a real bitch to me and I didn't get to do the things that I was promised because of her. I'm going to find myself a new job so that I can get out of here. Mostly I want to go freelance and work from home again, but I don't think that we could afford for me to do that, so it looks like I'll just have to find a better job instead.

@jacobgrey-Maybe you will be able to find something that will let you have a bit of time to work on building up your freelancing business. Think positive!
@Kiseu-If you want anymore of the Spring pieces from last year just let me know. I have doubles of a lot of them.
I donate to KofK, also. I like that the site is run by just a couple of people instead of a conglomerate.

Hi jacob!! Where can you see the donation bar? o: but yeah, I can see that the admins are pretty friendly with the users ;w; it keeps me at ease when I donate.
And that totally sucks >.> hope you can find a job that you like! Where do you work at rn?
Also, thanks luv~ I really like the periwinkle set because it's so gorgeous c8 is it really only Firn and starkad running this site?

@luvloveless: I hope so! I actually was totally freelance once before, but when I started working here I gradually let all my clients slip away as it was just too much work to do both. Some of them even stopped sending me assignments, I guess because the quality of my work dropped when I was so busy. I've been applying for all kinds of things, like internships and grants, so maybe something will come through.
@kiseu: Sometimes Firn posts one when she updates the TT items, so check the announcements. Also she has one in her hangout, The Mysterious Jellyfish Domination.
Right now I work at a racing circuit, I've been volunteering here at weekends since I was 15 so I thought it would be my dream job. I even got offered a position that wasn't being advertised, so it seemed like a dream come true. Unfortunately I don't get to do the things they promised I would, there's no way to develop a real career here because all the bosses have been around for 10+ years, and my direct boss is a real bitch. Plus I don't think I'm really cut out for this sort of work, I was more healthy and less stressed before.
