Josie, please. That's enough. You yourself lashed out onto Sierrie for blindly following the rules when she only corrected a part of your premise, rather than disagree with your whole argument, then ignored her when she stated that fact.
You say you were commenting on a point in Firn's post about how she dislikes people hoarding Knuffel to make them sell out faster, but I'm certain that you're misunderstanding what she doesn't like. From her post, I understood that what she doesn't like are people who adopt the last 10 Knuffel on their mules and never look at them again or feed them again, not because they like that particular Knuffel, but just because they want to see what the next Knuffel looks like faster; not people who genuinely get enjoyment out of all five stages and want to have them all displayed in their profile. You took her complaining about people hoarding Knuffel they dislike just to see if they like the next one and applied it to everyone who gets more than one Knuffel.
I believe this is faulty reasoning. Firn might like it when people show interest in Kingdom of Knuffel and create traffic because they genuinely want to participate in aspects of the site. Firn, on the other hand, might dislike it when people inflate traffic by botting to make their Knuffel get to higher level faster. Both are taxing on the bandwidth, but Firn doesn't have to like both or hate both since they arise out of different intentions.
Just like she doesn't have to like both people who gets multiples to get all stages, and people who gets multiples to see the next one faster, even though the end results might be the same. The ends, after all, doesn't have to justify the means; but the means, and the intentions behind that, might justify the end.
In fact, if I were Firn, and one of the Knuffel sold out fast because people genuinely liked it, I would be happy about it and happy to draw the next Knuffel just because I knew people were satisfied with my work. However, if I knew that the only reason the Knuffel sold out faster was not because people particularly liked that one but just wanted to see the next one faster, I would be grumpy at having to draw a new one because I knew that the people who had the Knuffel weren't those who were satisfied with my work, but just people who are impatient about seeing the next generation of Knuffel.
And your suggestions for making end stages not final -- as nice as it would be -- would be of no use for discouraging people who adopt multiple Knuffel, not because they genuinely get enjoyment out of different stages, but because they simply can't wait for the next Knuffel.
And I believe that the reason people think your argument is inane is not entirely because it's emotionally charged, but because you've decided that the only reasoning behind the feature must be the bandwidth, and that if it was, then it is for no reason at all. You've demonstrated that you aren't open to explanations by the admins. You yourself said that if admins told you personally that the reasons for the feature was for the bandwidth, you'd STILL assume that they were merely making excuses. If you want to have constructive discussions, you should be open to listening to the other side's argument. You've demonstrated that you aren't open to that. Please take a deep breath and return when you're ready to argue your point constructively in a civilized manner. If you don't, you will only make people get irritated at you which will shut down THEIR willingness to entertain your points. After all, why should we listen to your perspective, when you've made it clear you won't listen to ours?
On a lighter note, those Knuffel that were put up for adoption when the Event Knuffel came out? I'm almost certain that those were the Knuffel on a particular perma-banned account.
