They appear randomly; sometimes you'll go minutes without seeing any, and other times you'll find more than one in less than a minute.

two things
1: iv'e heard people saying that when you get an egg, the egg follows the screen when you move down. mine are not doing that
why is that?
2: i jsut got a pretty purple leaves egg
