Maybe it's just that there's a range of age which grew up with things like this, and they stick around even as they get older....

Drinking age in my part of Canada is 19 years old. I am 31 so definitely legal

I think that's probably it, younger people today use other sites than classical forum based ones, I believe.

I think forums phased out a bit.
I find forums easier when there's a lot of activity.. also I miss editing posts as a mod.. I'm admin for a fb group and gaah I so want to merge posts.
