Okay, is that for just you or did you and Chris have to buy two separate subscriptions?

that's a great deal, though. I just can't see myself paying that subscription for a game. but if you enjoy it, you enjoy it. regardless of the price.

No, unfortunately we have to buy two separate subscriptions. :<

This very thing is one of the big reasons I never played WoW.

But ever since FF XI, I had always wanted to try out the online FFs. We both kinda finally said screw it, let's give it a chance. And now we're both hopelessly addicted.

All in all, we pay about $35 a month, combined, to play FF XIV every waking moment of our lives. It's not too terrible a price for the amount of enjoyment we get out of it.

I think one of my favourite things about XIV is that you don't have to have multiple characters (even though I totally do) in order to try out every class.
One character can master every class!

Yeah, that really sucks that you have to buy separate. I don't get that. why can't you buy a value pack??

Yeah, if you can defend that price then why not?

OH That reminds me of an old mmo I used to play. some classes required you to master two other classes. I like games like that.

Also, trying to call my dr. and pnc bank to get my payoff amount. the dr. office is busy and pnc bank is confusing me. I wonder if I can just say no to every option for pnc just to talk to a freaking human and not a robot. so annoying.

Try it! What's the worst that could happen? The prompt gives up and ends the phone call?

Yeah, that's how XIV works. So, let's say you start off as a Pugilist. You get all the way to level 30. Well, there's no longer any real job progression for Pugilist. But if you happen to have 15 levels in Lancer as well, then you can undertake class missions to become a Monk.

So the base classes are Gladiator, Marauder, Conjurer, Arcanist, Thaumaturge, Lancer, Archer, and Pugilist. There's technically Rogue, too, but it's not available from the very beginning.

Then you have your advanced jobs. Paladin, Warrior, White Mage, Black Mage, Summoner, Scholar, Monk, Bard, Dragoon, and Ninja.

And then there are classes that become available with expansions.
Heavensward gives you Dark Knight, Atrologian, and Machinist.
Stormblood will give us Red Mage and Samurai.

As to why they don't offer bundles for the subscription, I can only image it's because it's an account-based thing. Chris has to have an account to play, and I have to have an account to play. Everything is very neatly tracked on the Mogstation for each individual account. So if he got bored of playing, but I still loved it, I could still subscribe even if he didn't want to.

I got it XD It was really confusing to me, but then again I am easily confused. just need to get ahold of someone at the dr office. I just don't like leaving voice mails. Wouldn't be surprisd if thy haven't already changed my appt. but going to try and get it where I don't have to take sick time to go it.
AND I'm pretty pumped that my car is finally paid off. get to save more money month to month now. (already rewarded myself for payng it off...)

YEAH that's exactly how that one game worked, just less classes cuz it was f2p.

yeah, true, I was just saying it. too bad there isn't a way though to save money.

Nah, I completely understand. And trust me, I'd love to save money. xD Without just giving up the game. ;)

Is there any place that has a completely up-to-date list of all Knuffel stages? I just checked out the Wikia page, and it's not even up-to-date, either. :/ Just trying to decide if I want multiples of some of these before they leave the shop, y'know?

I think they finally updated the thread with all but the latest light boy? last I checked at least unless I was dreaming. I think they need someone who's active to take over knuffel nana.

Oh snap! So they have.

Thanks! :D

Yeah. I oversaw a couple of people chatting about it in the thread a while back.
And at first I was like "I'd totally be willing to do it!" and then reminded myself how flaky my attendance is here. :x

yeah, I don't even know who is in charge of it, but it was too tiring to look for stages in the posts.

I would be willing to do it as well, but I'm a lurker.

Last I knew it was ama. Not sure if they still hadnle it or not, though.

Being back on here makes me want to do buttons again. Except I know I lost all those files. And I don't really want to make everything from scratch again.
Plus I need a new activation code for Photoshop. Oops.
