Yeah. Grandma's tend to do that. I'm glad she's still mobile!
A while back my grandmother had fallen. She didn't wanna call anyone and just lay there for the longest while. I got a call from my cousin who'd found her (I live nearby) if I could help pick her up. Luckily from all my cousins I'm one of the strongest girls (brute force wise) so we managed to pick her up, but she just couldn't understand why we were angry when we found out she'd been laying there for so long when we bought her an alarmbracelet so that if something happened like that one of the family could head over as soon as possible. She didn't feel like it was necessary to wear the bracelet... *huffs angrily*
Thank god she's now wearing it, but we always check now if she is, cause she still thinks we're overreacting. She was on the cold floor for 3 hours...
She even refused to head to the hospital afterwards. We eventually had to sic my oldest uncle on her so she'd be forced to go... turns out she had a fracture and a bonebruise from all that... *grumbles* What little mobility she had has seriously dropped now. She's supposed to use her walker everywhere now and she still sometimes leaves it in the kitchen...
