@Nan thanks! Oh yeah protein will make you bulk up. It's good to have a fair amount of it in your diet otherwise ironically you might also put on weight (your body will think you are not getting enough stuff in your diet and will try to hang on to fat etc for longer).
@Poshi I know, she's so proud of losing it as well. Thing is my dad also lost weight at the same time and everyone compliments him but fails to notice her so she gets really bummed out. I think it's just because she's so good at dressing that she hid her weight for a long time. Good job your results are clear so far, hopefully the rest will just show a simple reason!

@Nan: In the end, I just went to sleep 'cause someone ate all the egg tarts. XD That's fine though, I was mostly planning to eat them because no one else was.
@Poshi: Oh, wow, that's a lot of travelling, though!
I can't decide between that yakitori with beer (dunno the place name though) or the fruit sandwiches. We also had ramen and sushi and okonomiyaki that was so frickin' good. Ugh, Japanese food is the best!
@Nan: You'll have to check with granola bars, since not all of them are healthy as they seem? If you do a little online research, you can find out which are the best health-wise and which are just snacks.

Don't worry Nan, you won't get muscular just from eating protein. It still takes using the muscles as well ;)
Protein bars could make you gain weight simply because they're nutritionally dense (so you might eat a lot of calories without noticing), but if you're having them instead of breakfast that probably isn't a problem.

Did you go to those DIY okanomiyaki places? It was so much fun but kind of hard to mix :3 We also went to all you can eat shabu shabu in Shinjuku. They're so generous with the meat.
@Nan
Yeh they won't make you muscular but if you're interested in muscle repair and more protein required for that function then protein bars/shakes are a good way of doing so, especially good if you work out :D
I wouldn't have them for breakfast though so stick to low sugar granola bars. I can't eat granola cause of nuts so I can't make an recommendation. I usually have a meat and cheese sandwich for breakie or meat buns.
