From what I've seen if someone calls the police on you over a bird feeder they're gonna flip their shit over anything outside your house and are Bad Neighbors

Well I can also kinda see why some ppl would call the popo for a bird feeder. I wouldn’t want my yard to become a rest room for the neighborhood birds lol.

I don't sympathise at all about calling police for a birdfeeder. The birds were absolutely here first, if you can't co-exist with something as harmless as a bird, what are you even doing? And bird poop is some of the best fertilizer out there, which you are getting in your garden for free. And it washes clear with the first rain, and is part of how a healthy ecosystem is DESIGNED.
I have no desire to live in an entirely artificial environment that requires chemicals and expensive fixes to replace what could be there on its own if you just leave it be.
It's wasteful and inefficient and just wrong.

But then, as is very clear, I am not a city person. At all.

I get that noise is annoying -but traffic noises and most human noises are SO. MUCH. WORSE! So if I can't call the police about someone using a snowblower and giving me a three-hour headache with tinnitus, having someone call the police over a birdfeeder is just not okay.

I could easily mentally adjust so I don't mind the fixing, but I'm glad it happened because I know full well people can use that aid
