Which means less work XD

I also want a butterfly garden but I think my outside space is way too hot for flowers, especially in the summer. It's really hard to get anything blooming. I have managed to keep a few things alive but it's pretty hard sometimes.

I'm thinking about putting out a bird feeder as well but we mostly have crows and I'm 70% sure the neighbors would complain.

If you use birdfeeders with the right type of seed it won't attract crows...
For instance, I've never yet seen any crows or ravens be interested in thistle-seed.
It usually just has finches and small birds like that.
There's probably others, that's just the one I thought of off-hand.

Yes less work with perennials lol.
And birds are good but only in moderation. I hate if I have a flock just twittering in my ear. In the middle of the night.

What kind of birds are even that loud in the middle of the night.

I'm pretty sure thistle seeds are more expensive than what I'm comfortable paying
Also, there's a big problem, I live in a city, I'll be happy if I attract anything beyond pigeons.
And I'd kinda love having an army of crows ^^

It's pretty rare too, I don't know of any bird that sings during the night except owls but they're very recognizable so you would know.

Well, nightingales are named for the fact that they will sing at night.
Maybe those?
Do you have nightingales locally?

I don't know much about city birds.
But if you want an army of crows, ignore the neighbors! Go for it! It sounds very fierce. :qh:

You have a point. Probably those.

I'd love it but I wouldn't love having the police called on me.
I don't even know if the law allows that, it's probably a grey area.
But I'll probably try anyway

I’m not sure what kind of bird they are. I’m not even sure I know what nightingales look like. But yeah they’re def not owls.
