I've found deers to be sometimes incredibly oblivious. Like, keeping on eating despite me being 1m away right in front of it.
Might be because the feel safe or something but it's still pretty scary because those things are huge.

The deer at a local state park are fairly tame. They're not pets, but they let you get surprisingly close to them. All the other deer in the area run for the hills.

We don’t get much wildlife here lol. Tomato stealing squirrels. Yup. And one very FAT rabbit lol. XD sometimes they chill out in a corner of our yard near the screen door. Maybe it’s warmer there. Lol

I'm always surprised be the sheer number of moles that pop up in the neighborhood. I don't know why, but I never get used to it. Somehow or another, in my head, moles are as uncommon as porcupines; you know, an occasional visitor.
And yet.
They're really very common.
My dad insists that if I had the right kind of camera for recording nighttime activities, porcupines would be pretty common, too, but the number of idiot dogs we have locally tell me he's lying, because otherwise these mutts would regularly have snoots-full of quills.

My favourite local fauna are the Indian three-striped palm squirrels. They're literally small enough to fit on your palm, or be covered by your palm if you cup your hand over one of them. They're so cute and fluffy. I leave peanuts for them in the balcony.
Also how adorable that your avatar has a squirrel of her own, Akili! What's its name and which set is it from?

That's harder, to my mind. That's an ongoing, you have to live with it forever thing, instead of one single moment that's the exception instead of the rule.

It's from the "Forest Child" set, which I unfortunately missed and have been having to buy piecemeal when I can. It doesn't have a name yet -you can name it if you like.

Sounds rough; was it a muscle spasm thing or do you think there's a joint stuck somewhere in your back?
If it might be a muscle thing, I highly recommend splurging on the water bill this month and taking a very hot shower; heat like that really helps relax tense muscles.

I thought it might be sciatica bc one of my legs also hurts (altho I feel like both hurt lol, just one hurts more). The Chinese healer said that my spine might be out of whack so he did his massage thing and stretched me out. Like literally there was a part of my massage where he pulled at my head and neck and my legs. And he also pressed down on one point of my back/spine.
I’m using a heat pad right now. Dunno if it’s working, I’m also taking ibuprofen robax lol.
