You can totally talk to me!

I read some things mostly, not really fan fiction a whole lot. Mostly original stories on Tapas.

It's going great! We finally have the third person who's supposed to be in my room (he was leading another classroom for a bit). The kids are cute but frustrating sometimes. Other times they're hysterical.

"I Halloweened my house." A recent quote from one of the xD

You know that place between sleep and awake? The place you can still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always love you, Peter Pan. That's where I'll be waiting.

Hey! Just checking in again. How did your thesis thing go? Or are you still working on it?

Also happy every holiday that’s passed since we last talked!

hi there! :mchappy:

yep, still working on it, and will be until the end of next year roughly, so like a year and a half more?

omg yes, happy holidays! and most recently, happy new year!

i'm kind of sad because i've put every single rp i've had in every single place on hiatus? but i've discovered fanfiction is a huge comfort lol. so now i've been doing more fandom things, including dreamwidth which is like, the rabbit hole of fandom just one step behind lj lol!

what about you, how have you been? what chu been up to? :qh:

Keep up the good work!

Happy New Year!

That's okay...I pretty much only have one going right now (my mojo is a little out of sorts recently XD)

I have never heard of that...you're basically speaking gibberish right now XD

I've pretty much been working. Minimum wage in my state went up, meaning I got a $0.40 increase an hour XD

I'm waiting to get the Harry Potter series from Amazon (stupid shipping) because I want to get back into reading for fun and haven't actually finished the series.

aw thank you :qh:

well :qt: if i reduce it, i'm basically reading a lot of MxM fanfiction, most of which are really high-quality (which makes me wonder what the hell i'm thinking wanting to write my own fanfiction, not that i have the time to anyway.)

they're mostly au, too, so you don't have to be a fan to read/understand them. they can be treated like any original story. it's great.

yay! that's good that you're getting paid more

ooh :mcconf: harry potter, that's my childhood right there. my first fandom too :qt: there i go again. anyway. how far into the series have you read?
(also totally yes to reading for fun! that's the way to go.)

you remember you told me about tapas? so like i've installed it but i can't spend actual money on anything (and i don't want to start anything that isn't already complete) so... sorry for being so picky :mcheh: but do you have any recs?

(and if you're curious about fanfiction. i can throw some at you. i need someone to fangirl over them with. they can be part of your project to read for fun if you find that you enjoy them too :mcwink:)

Well I started reading it in middle school (like 12 years ago xD) I didn’t get past book 4 but I don’t remember much. I’m waiting for them to come in.

Yeah, college totally killed reading for fun for me. But I want to again.

I don’t read any that are completed, but I don’t spend money either. Some are totally free. I’m liking The Boy and the Wolf (z-pico) and A Matter of Life and Death. But I also have the mobile app and you can get coins by watching videos. It takes some time, but it’s totally free.

problem is, i can't watch the videos to earn coins either. we are only allowed to use the college wifi one one device (so my laptop), and i can't afford so much mobile data that i can stream videos on my phone. :mcsleepy:

i'm having enough fun with fanfics though. i found this absolutely adorable oneshot that i'm still squeeing over days after i found it. :mcsquee:

lmao i forgot that links here don't get automatically underlined. the oneshot i mentioned in the previous post is a link btw ;;

yay! i've always loved the idea of having a whole set of the same edition, since it'll have similar cover designs and seem just right. ahhh, memories. i feel tempted to reread it myself now haha. i started the series when i was eight. i remember years later reading about how after loads of rejections, when the HP manuscript was handed to the guy who was the editor or whatever at bloomsbury at the time, he gave the first chapter to his child. she read it and immediately demanded the next chapter, and that's how he made his decision.

and i was like, tbh same. :qt:

Hopefully I’ll get around to reading it later :)

I’ve finished book 1 already, I couldn’t put it down. I’m definitely starting book 2 today!
