Went to the con, had a blast, have a funny story to tell, will talk more in detail later when I'm not tired on a Monday night lol.

SO. MY FUNNY STORY.

So I was wandering around the Dealers Room and, all of a sudden, someone calls out a name. And when I mean “name,” I actually mean that someone called out the name “Marinette!” (She's a character from this French cartoon I'm in love with called "Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir." It's about this normal half Chinese, half French, pigtailed girl in Paris called Marinette who has the ability to transform into the superheroine Ladybug. She and her partner Chat Noir go around Paris, protecting civilians from Hawkmoth and the akuma he sends out to turn people into bad guys.)

ANYWAY I turn around and there’s this girl/dealer who’s gesturing me over. I walk to her booth and she’s like “Can I get a picture of you?” I looked at her kind of dumbfounded because one: I wasn't cosplaying and two: I WASN'T COSPLAYING. What I WAS wearing were: a black and red striped blouse (just my "little nod" to my love of all things Ladybug and red and black), jean capris, a black cardi, my hair done up in pigtails (granted, my own black hair is WAY longer than Marinette’s) and, of course, my pink Marinette bag (the one she normally carries around with her as a civilian) that I ordered several months ago.

Of course, I tried to tell her “But I’m not even cosplaying!” but she was all like “But you have her bag! And your hair’s in pigtails!” In the end, I was just like “Shrug, have at it then.” and let her take a picture of me. Still…con memories! I’d definitely not forget this one!

And wow, that story is adorable. Maybe you weren't officially cosplaying, but you were clearly close enough. c:

LOL when I told some of my friends/co workers, they laughed with me...xD it WAS pretty funny though...xD;;

Side note, a mew serial code event is up in Europe/Australia (MEW2016). It seems to be a second wave of the 20th anniversary mew from February?

Uh...wouldn't know? xD;; I live in North America so those events wouldn't apply to me...xD;;

Well, that information is for anyone that is in those areas, in case they pop into the thread. XD

Also, the legends have names now (Solgaleo and Lunala), and there's apparently a Rotom in the pokedex that will talk to you. :D I'm getting super excited. =u=
