Char: People do that on Gaia as well as a way to get more money, and it may be rude but it also works. Because users will not always pay attention to the store price so it's 'score' for the buyers. So though it may be rude, a seller has the right to try and sell any of their items at any price they choose.
So people should just pay close attention and be aware of what they are buying.
That's my opinion of course. I'm not for trying to play that trick on people, but I also don't think you should make it so people can't sell commons above their store price. A person has the right the to sell their things for whatever they wish.

Themis that is true you can list your items for what ever amount you wish.

I do feel it's important to inform the users you can compare the prices to make a more informed decision. I did feel it was necessary to let our users know that this can happen as the system is currently set up. If the item is a store bought it will always show the price if can be bought for from the store.

Shop items are a permanent part of the site and will always be sold at the same price.

The only shop with limited time items currently is the Treasure Trove which are sold for FC

Shop items can be sold for above and below current shop prices.
I just wanted to make buyers and sellers aware the price the shop price is listed to compare.

Once you list any item whether the price be to high or even to low there is no canceling the item from being sold.

Oh no, I didn't mean to make it seem like I don't want them to be informed as I greatly do >w< I was just saying I didn't agree with your suggestion that you shouldn't be allowed to sell shop items higher than shop price because that would mean that no, users can't sell their items for what they want.
So no no no lol informing is very good

& I agree with Charstar, BE CAREFUL! I seen that Panda bag too, it was by the same person who bough something from me and then put it up for resell for the same price she bought it from me... =/
