I haven’t updated my eyes for a few years too lol.

I think i got this pair close to a decade ago

I think I got my pair TWO decades ago XD
To be fair, I used them only in class because I couldn't see the board and later when I was driving. I haven't done either in years so I didn't really feel the need to update but I really should.

I have to be able to drive so I can't do that
Also I work in a factory so I'd have to wear glasses anyway, might as well make shitty seeing sliiiightly less so

Yeah without glasses, everything is a blur lol. XD I can see closer things but far away? I’m dead lol.

I gotta go see the eye doc and get some more contacts this year. Also need to talk about getting REAL glasses. The last pair I tried for the first time since I was a kid was unusable. Not only did it have the chromatic distortion that gave everything red and blue halos, it also had peripheral distortion where I'd see 2-3 of some items, on top of the curvy fishbowl effect. It was so bad, I actually dropped them down my nose to drive with my natural vision on straightaways, and mind you my vision is 20/400. I tried to be stubborn and grit through it, but couldn't stand them more than four hours, and dealt with a two-day migraine afterward.

LOL, yes, sorry, my bad! Cake MIX, not batter. Grandmama got some boxed cake mix on sale at a bent and dent store to use after my daughter used all of the donut mix that came with her kit for cake donuts, and none of us checked the expiration date.

I couldn’t do contacts. Ever. Bc I have a thing about sticking stuff into my eyes. Lol

I've never managed contacts either.
My vision isn't too terrible. I can't drive without glasses since technically I'm legally blind without them for distance stuff, but even without glasses I can still see things nearby. The nearer, the clearer.
I might trip over things because the ground is far enough away it's pretty blurry, but I can still read!
And that's all I really care about...

Yeah last o checked my eyes are too different from each other for contacts to be an option for me
