I don't mind critters that aren't gonna kill and eat me. xD Bears... o.o That's kinda scary. xD Most we've had around here is some coyotes last year. We don't generally have to worry about them but there were sitings and we have a sort of wooded area behind the house and we also have an indoor/outdoor cat who pitches and absolute childish fit if she doesn't get to go outside. So we had to keep an eye out for her last year to make sure some coyote didn't just come along and snatch her up.
I know! I can't even stand to go out for 10 minutes. I felt so bad for him having to work out in that heat everyday. I'm so glad he's indoors now. It hasn't been too terrible this year but once it gets mid-July/July it's usually 100 every day. x.x

Yeah, we have mountain lions around here too. Those are really scary. O_O The bears are usually pretty docile (though I am always careful) but the mountain lions are.. eep!
I have 4 cats that are brats and HAVE to go outside. I usually don't worry too much since the most we have near us right now as a predator towards them is a fox.. but foxes aren't likely to go for cats if they can catch mice or something easier. Kitties are more desperation from what I hear.. and we have TONS of mice, so the fox should be happy. XD The bears stick to the garbage and we only get coyotes when they're passing through. When I hear them howling I lock my cats in my room during the night for a few days. So far so good.
I like being awake at night cause I for some reason think it helps ensure my cats stay safe. *stupid* But I do have peace of mind that they pretty much stick to my yard.
WOW.. I'd hate to be that hot all the time. @__@ It's been kinda nice for me the past few years being awake at night. Cause I can usually sleep through the hot part of the day if I have a fan on, and then I get to enjoy the prefect temperatures at night. XD

Wow. xD I know what state I won't be moving to right away. O8 I'm concerned about my cat if another stray cat wanders in the yard and they see each other. xD

Lol there are like 8 other cats around here that beat my cats up. I just call my cats wussies and send em back out there. XD
Ohoh! Or driving with the top down (bf has a convertible, lol). AMAZING. Though if it rained that day then night is cold here, even in summer. The weather here is hormonal like crazy too, I forgot to mention. You can have weather from all seasons in a matter of hours here. It's stupid.
I have literally watched it snow like a blizzard for 10 minutes, then get really sunny for 15 minutes, then hail, then rain, then wind, then sun again. Wtf..

xD Aw.
I thought our weather was bad. XD When it was just getting around to spring it was freezing one week and it'd be hot the next. Bf was still working outside then so he basically had to keep a closet in his car incase he needed a jacket or raincoat/boots. xD It was pretty ridiculous.
