I'm gonna clean today! Gotta grab a few things from the store first tho. Man I woke up in the middle of the night again.

Waiting for Krispy Kreme to open so I can get coffee & donuts before I do any work.

Why are there so many scummy people online.
Did a commission for somebody, agreed they would pay me in tickets for an event.
The tickets they send me are not for any event we agreed about, they are for something I would never go to. (They won them through a lottery as the lotteries name is on them)
So I've been trying to sell them online and people are insulted I don't want to give them to them for peanuts and giggles.
Should have insisted on getting actual money. Lesson learned. :}

I was halfway done with a commission for two cat portraits and this lady went stupid on me.I was in the middle of being sick with Covid with my daughter who had respiratory issues when she was born, and I didn't know it at the time but I was also bipolar. I told her that I was going to send her a refund for the total price of the item, and she blocked me after raging in my business profile's mail box about how I had made the worst choice blah blah and then she blocked me on cash App so I couldn't send her money back to her because "She was just trying to help a single mother because she felt sorry for me" WHELP. I have two publications in separate books (a poetry book, and an academic journal) and I was interviewed by the American press about an event that I went to so I don't really care about her toddler fit. It took a while for it to just roll off of me though.

People are weird! and they think creatives are weird!

There's also a lot of scummy people where I work. 8D

I'm trying to get my financial aid extended to cover like 580.00 but no one will tell me if I can get the aid, and I can't wait because classes start again in five days. I can enroll in a payment plan but they're not responding to my emails. :(

That is annoying. Do they maybe have a number you could call?
They make things like this unnecessary difficult. :}

I hated having to deal with financial aid in school. Hope you get it all sorted!

Okay so update: I had to hound them for more than a week to get my financial aid set up for the rest of the amount I owed and about halfway through the first day I had to check my email, and they sent me a confirmation that they had covered the rest of the amount I owed. X_X

Yay, Outline!! Glad you got that sorted! I hate dealing with any kind of financial stuff. It's never as easy or straightforward as it's made out to be.
