I will be sure to get him if I remember. Since I stop adopting so many, I never bother to check on the expiring one. 
I love his strange tuxedo and I like how he not so pink in the final.

Maybe people want a change from the magpies and ravens. Not to many owls. Love the flamingo idea, very cute. I will of course get him but I have to wait a bit.

It is an American thing that owl are Halloween animal. We view it as their scary, night creature, so that fit Halloween. How do you guys in Europe celebrate Halloween? All we do is dress in silly/scary custom and go knocking on people door to get free candy. It not a serious day or religious day at all like in Mexico.

We didn't celebrate Halloween until. I don't know. The 90s? It was just taken over from America. So it is mostly trick or treat and costumes and decoration. And not religious at all.
In general Halloween is not as big as in the US. And we have carnival for costumes and party
