I'm going to be super moody. So if I snap at you it's nothing personal. My dad has a double hernia. And if he doesn't get it operated on next week, in two weeks we'll be burying him. So I'm upset, pissy and down right moody. I just punched the metal door and now my hand hurts. So if you don't hear from me it just means I don't know what to do with myself and I'm just off and on.

It's normal to be upset in this kind of situation. Please vent as much as you want ;) It's not always easy to be upset in front of family who's just as worried as you are.
I hope your dad will be fine

Thanks. I feel a little better, but I feel so helpless. I don't think I'll be sleeping tonight.

You're the opposite of me. When I'm worried and stressed I sleep a ton.

Me too. Because a) I'm too stressed to function so might as well leave off functioning for a while and b) it's an escape.

I usually sleep too. Especially when it's exam period and I know I gotta study but sleep the whole time instead.

I wish I can sleep when stressed. I wouldn't be so tired then.
