My sister-in-law recently handed me the first two books of one of David Weber's series, so I'm about to pick the first one up. But you tempt me to revisit Heyer, instead. Such a different pace and style of writing; maybe I'll go do that, first....

Now partway through the second book of David Weber's "Honor Harrington" series. Ready to put it down for the night and sleep, though. Have another long day tomorrow, after all.

Decided to take a little break before jumping into the third book of the series I'm reading (since how some of the interactions between characters were written annoyed me).

Starting "The Waking Land" by Callie Bates.

I'm still reading "The Waking Land" by Callie Bates. I'm kind of disappointed with it. It sounded so good, and I always saw it in the fantasy section, but too many unnecessary moments that makes the main female character sound kind of thirsty. I don't need to know his hand is on top of your hand a thousand times and you can feel the heat radiating off his abs. Going to keep on marching through it since I want to get back to the Shadow Campaign series.
