How can one be prepped for something that's never happened before?

This past August was weird... It was suppose to be the hottest month but I swear I was cold for most of it, except for 3-4 days. >A<

Today I was cold too but it's september now.. o3o

Internet peeps do not understand local weather of the distant areas they like to fuss about. I ain't from Texas, but I imagine snow storms aren't something you encounter on a regular basis.

August was surprisingly cool for August, but still had plenty of steamy days here. Bleh. We have a cool front coming in this weekend and I am so ready for it, rain included. I need some slow, cold, rainy days bundled up cozy in a blanket and reading.

The past few days have been too warm for me.. especially for my asthma. I hated it, but I ran the AC. >A< my poor electric bill...


I look forward to cooler weather. I prefer the cold

SAME. My personal ranking of the seasons is autumn, winter, spring, and then summer. The heat drains me so much, which impacts my work ethic, which then impacts my mental health for wondering why I am so unproductive. I get Season Affective Disorder at the opposite end of the year of most people. XD

For me, you can only take so much off when it's hot. But when it's cold, you can just keep adding. xD

Did not anime the past 2 nights due to stress.. tonight Rho and I are gonna watch Dungeon & Dragons (the first movie. Rho never seen it, but has seen the new one)

Last night it was finally cold enough I could sleep under more than just a tiny little lightweight throw. I dug out my weighted blanket. I feel like that's the first time I've slept since April this year. I did NOT want to get out of bed this morning! *_*

I introduced my son to Dragonforce maybe a year ago. This weekend when I got to see the kids, he had all sorts of viking, pirate, and power metal on his phone. I was a very proud momma and put him in charge of the driving music. (I'm the noncustodial parent because my ex-mother-in-law lied to DHR about me putting bruises on the kids, and those idiots are about as lazy and unethical as government ever gets.)

x3 never wanting to get out of bed is a nice feeling.
