My mom took me to get my ears pierced when I was like 7. The piercer lady looked super pissed and she scared me so I cried and wouldn't let her do it. Then my mom yelled at me and blamed me for getting scared.

I currently have one lip piercing. All the rest closed up. I want a lot more piercings and tattoos. lol.

Lip piercings.. I like them on other people, but I don't think it'll suit me..

I am also working on my tattoos, next one is coming up on Saturday, I am super excited, it's finally going to be part of me :)

i had my ears pierced as a baby. most girls have their ears pierced as a baby and nose pierced as a child here. my mom says i cried when i was getting my ears pierced and she felt really bad. then next on the agenda was nose piercing but because she felt bad she was like nope this is enough i'm the first woman in my family not to have my nose pierced. my mother, aunts and grandmothers on both sides have both ears and noses pierced.

No worries. I'm glad it didn't either. I rather like having piercings. And I'm into the dopamine rush after getting them done.



I looove lip piercings. I'd like to get my other side done again. You could get some of those fake piercing rings and try putting one on, see if it looks good on you.

You're not alone DC, I'm not really that interested in getting tattoos or piercings either. Maaaybe at some point a tattoo if I come up with some motif that feels perfect to me. I kinda like the look of tattoos.

Mynah, your mom sounds great :) I think it's awesome to break traditions like that if you feel like it's not the best for your child :)
Would you now like to have a nose piercing? As in, do you "regret" not getting it done as a child? (As in, do you wish it had just happened so you'd have it without having to do it now?)

How come you get your nose pierced as a child? This sounds very extraordinary to me, but that depends on the culture I guess.

I am the first one in the family getting body modifications, piercings and tattoos that is. I am kind of the odd one out xD But I am proud of that, that way I am preparing the path for others in my family so hopefully they don't have to struggle that much as I had to :D

Yea I already tried to see whether a lip piercing would suit me, but I don't think so :D I stick with my ears When I was around 12 I really wanted a belly button piercing, but luckily I did not consider that after all. Wouldn't like it today.
