That sucks :(

I went to Darien Lake (an amusement park) yesterday and I got sunburn on my toes (never happened before) and now everything hurts...and I hate rides that make me feel like I'm going to fall out of my seat.

You know that place between sleep and awake? The place you can still remember dreaming? That's where I'll always love you, Peter Pan. That's where I'll be waiting.

:mcsad: I'm sorry it was a bad experience for you! And on top of that it's supposed to be fun. I hope you enjoyed some other things you did there but doesn't sound like you could've if you had to get around the place with your toes hurting throughout :mcgloom:

Today I have just one class after lunch. Soon even this free time is going to have to be given up to assignments so I'm going to enjoy this time while it lasts :qsml:

I mean, I did have fun. I like a lot of the other rides and we went to a concert there. So it was a good time.

Good luck in school! It's weird for me not getting ready to go back :/

I've been thinking about some plot ideas recently (meaning I can't sleep right now which sucks because I need to be up in, like, six hours) and really want to try this.

I was thinking that Haneul could take a joke too far and Tae just snaps. Like shouting (maybe), full on anger loses it. I don't know exactly what would cause him to snap, but I think it could be interesting to play out.

Not to mention it would totally prove Lain's "never defends himself" idea wrong xD

Awesome idea! Especially as the angst purely between Lain and Tae because of Lain's fuckup is getting draggy.
As for what Haneul might say to make him snap... maybe a silly joke about it being stupid that Tae and Lain can't just be friends after dissolving their 'relationship' (since the whole Lain going along with their misunderstanding that something was going on between him and Tae fiasco) and just tiptoe awkwardly around each other? Just an idea.

Maybe...I think that could work.

Yeah, the current drama's definitely getting a tad boring...

Hey! I'm sorry, I should've dropped in at least to chat. I've been alternating between busy and sick and too often both together :mcdead:
but I do have one exciting thing to tell!

In a couple of weeks we have to submit a proposal for our honours thesis, so I have to start formulating it. I've decided I want to broadly work on Fandom and Female Desire, probably with a focus on how it's articulated in female consumption of male homosexuality i.e. male slash and the yaoi fandom, so :mcsquee:

I mean I'm scared ofc because the honours thesis is going to be 10,000 words and regardless of the professor I get for a supervisor they're going to give me 'tough love' and be hard taskmasters. Also the thesis is 3 credits and I'll still have 9 credits of additional coursework to complete the honours track.

Also after I submit a proposal now, if it's accepted I have to flesh it out so that by next semester I have the arguments I want to make and the questions I want to ask within what I'm working on, like an abstract. :qwor: Also if I'm starting honours I'm going to be EVEN busier so part of me wants to bypass this track but mostly this is something I really want to work on.

But yeah, I'll probably talk about Kpop in general for how it provides a site for women to express their desires publicly, touching upon Kpop's general fanservice, then Kpop's homoerotic fanservice in particular, then talk about fanfiction, the yaoi fandom and dojinshi, m// roleplaying etc. but like
WHAT EVEN IS MY ARGUMENT GONNA BE
Am I even smart enough to analyse the heck out of this stuff?

Anyway. I've gone on about that longer than I intended. But like, can I talk to you about this stuff? It's definitely going to be helpful if I can discuss these things with a fellow fujoshi :mccute: on that note can I ask you what all forms of M/M stuff do you consume apart from roleplaying? Do you read/watch yaoi? Read male slash fanfiction? Etc.

And. How have you been doing? How's the job been? (I was gonna ask 'How are the kids' and then I was like... that sounds like I'm family asking you as family :mcheh:)
