Something similar happened to my bf when his parents split. His mother gave away a limited edition psp (or something!!). I wanna try to get him another one, but I keep on forgetting what it was TTwTT

It's not awkward at all! And I do not think she knows what it was (it was a couple of years ago XD )
My Bf chats to his mum all the time, it's just unfortunate that he was kinda bribed into living with his father ... But that might change soon~

I might get one of those mannequins anyway
Cuz even tho they're not perfect, they're still a lot better than nothing

Do you mean those wooden drawing doll things you can pose?
Because there is an app which you can get (for free :D) which has those dolls.
It can be a little fiddly but it works.

I can go grab my phone and find the name if you like~

I'd rather an actual one but an app can work in the meantime
