After the last quest in the Dark Cave, I'm not sure but it seems there are no more wait-time between quests if you restart it. Was this done on purpose or is this an oversight?

Let's hope it isn't an oversight, as I would love going over the whole set of tasks again. And face it posting, digging and pop-up tasks take time even if there is no time between them. :}

That's on purpose. You'll have only a few days to replay all the tasks if you want to, so you don't need to wait, and it's ok because you get to restart only once.
