Hm, that might be an idea in principle, but nothing I can do right now without going grocery shopping for it first. I think I'll eat the plums that I wanted to use for my müsli tomorrow morning, they got squished on the way home, so I don't know how well they'll keep. I bought a backup apple for my breakfast because I was afraid that would happen, so it's not too bad and it'll be sweet as well, if not creamy.

I like classic cheesecake with salty caramel and whipped cream, and I like an unbaked Italian cheesecake I had once (forgot its name though) and I like blueberry cheesecake... but classic is just, like, classic

I find classic cheesecake has become, in this house, mostly a conveyance vehicle for raspberry sauce.

Oh, but isn't that a delicious vehicle, though ^^ Also, raspberry sauce is awesome, so you really only win ;)

Hah ah ah, fair. Good way to look at it!
It's my grandmother's favorite fruit, is raspberry, so there are a lot of dishes that have gradually become more and more raspberry-centered.
Also it seems like we keep planting more of them each year.

That's lovely that you garden your own fruit! And you live with your grandmother (me too! At least I used to. Live in a student hostel now.) Which country are you living in, if you don't mind telling that is?

We're in the US now.
There's a lot of great soil in our area so it's wonderful for growing things!

I can understand your grandmother, raspberries are really wonderful! Although I probably still love strawberries a bit more ;)

Do you have a strawberry plant? I know there are many varieties that do well in pots...

No, I don't. I'm not so good at growing things in a pot, I don't remember to water it often enough. At least that always happens pretty quickly when I have herbs in pots, what I try from time to time.
I always eagerly await the strawberry season, when the regional ones can be bought at the market. I try to not buy non-regional strawberries at all, since they're almost always disappointing.
I've seen the first german ones in the store a few days ago, I just had no way of transporting them at the time, so now I'm really excited and checking all the strawberries I see for their origin.
