Only reason I knew about it is because some of the in-development avatar sites I'm following have their artists do live streams on Twitch.

Twitch is basically an online streaming service where people can stream videos of them playing video games, doing live art, and other creative content. Think of YouTube but with everything being live, and not having a limit to how long or how much you stream. It is a really cool service, but the most common things you'll see there are video games, art, and music.

I knew about the live art streams and it was fun to watch artists pixel avatar items live but I didn't know about the other content. I think because I would watch the embedded stream on another site, like Facebook or something, so I've never actually visited the Twitch website though I've watched some streams.
