ikr :mclol: it's just hilarious when the comments section is a mess of the lenny faces and

poetry

like
why do you need porn
when kpop can turn you on?
*dies*

yeah, Erika Linder comes to mind because her fans are all supposedly straight girls questioning their sexuality, but sure is hard to find spaces/examples

Yeah; it's funny to me that the niche is filled with K-pop when the culture there has always seemed so genderbound and traditional to me... maybe I am just misinterpreting what I see, though, since I do not have a personal connection to the culture to really figure it out.

i actually feel that the more taboo sex is in a society, the more obsessed the society is about sex (because they're essentially making a big deal of it instead of just accepting it as any other part of life? idk)
i mean that's the way i've tried to make sense about the way people are about sex where i live.
in a way perhaps most societies are sex-obsessed, either about it or against i, but it's like the more taboo it is the more people just. can't. shut. with. the. innuendo.

also, the genderbound thing makes me think that perhaps norms of masculinity, femininity and their associations with sexuality and its expression are different in different societies even if they do share some similarities? of course it isn't that simple, but if you look at homosexuality for example, korea is super conservative about it but the whole homoerotic fanservice along with comic relief is pretty mainstream. while in other cultures as well it is acceptable to be turned on by homoeroticism and for homoerotic displays if they are for the sake of entertaining whereas homosexuality is unacceptable- it doesn't seem so very mainstream. fujoshi are a niche group in japan but in korea the homoerotic stuff is so visible...

and there i go rambling :mcheh: sorry about the textwall.

Vkei turns me on. What's disturbing is I'm turned on by Asian guys in drag. Yet I can't get turned on by other ethics in drag.

I'm not sure why that's disturbing to you, Death? It sounds like you have specific tastes, but that's actually quite normal.... most people have 'types'.

visual kei is hot, yass :qsq:

i love asian boys in drag, too! so this is kpop and not vkei, but have you seen the boys-in-drag version of Girls Day's 'Something'?

half the performance is by the girls' group, the boys-in-drag begins at around 1:29
ren looks so beautifulsexyawesomehot as a girl oh my heart *swoons*

and i agree with Akili, i don't think that's disturbing. other ethnics in drag don't really bring off a similar aesthetic, because different ethnicities have quite different looks and bodies. like i can't expect to find as many, say, caucasian guys, who have lovely smooth faces devoid of facial hair the way a lot of korean guys do. because their ethnic group doesn't lack facial hair.

so i guess what i'm trying to say is, if for example i like lovely smooth faced boys i'm very likely to get turned on by asian bishonen and not caucasians. but that's not disturbing or racist. it's just preference :mccute:
