My mother's IUD had the opposite effect and just made it even worse.
And I have bad memories of being on the pill, so for now I'll just endure the pain. I'm lucky in what the pain lasts just one day and aside from that it's pretty bearable.

Well I'm had the arm implant and it completely stopped my period for almost the whole time. So I feel like the iud would work for me.

I can't do the pill because I forget to take pills sometimes and I really don't want to chance pregnancy because I forgot something.

Though it's pretty unlikely I'd get pregs because husband is fixed. lol.

Man, I don't know how people don't use birth control when they don't want kids yet or at all. I wouldn't have been able to sex for the fear of pregnancy. The thought of me getting pregnant seriously terrifies me. Especially now that abortions are so hard to come by where I am. There's only one place that provides them in my entire state. It's horrifying.

Actually, for kids, we're at the "whichever is fine" stage so we don't worry much about it.

Still, the US seems terrible when it comes to abortions. Having a kid is heavy responsability and I can't see anything good coming from forcing someone to have one, both for the parent(s) and for the kid.

See I can understand if you're at that stage. But lots of people shouldn't be having babies. lol. Like one of my husband's coworkers has been dating her boyfriend for like 2 months. And she's only 19. And he's like 40. And she's prego. AND she's like ridiculously immature. It's a little terrifying.

I totally agree. Unfortunately being at that stage doesn't mean you're mentally ready.
In the end, what the parent(s) do is their choice but I think they have a responsability to think about the effects it's going to have on their child. Unfortunately, that's what a lot of parent(s) to be are forgetting and I find it sad.
