It had to be in English, so it was quite difficult too write. We rarely write cover letters in Polish, even more so in English And it was late, so we made a bunch of mistakes apparently, as we were told by natives we know
And I'm busy with studying the philosophy, exam's tomorrow, so I'm ervous, especially I didn't actually learn anything and I haven't touched half of the material, studying since about April -.-

Haha, thanks It was sent a few days ago and they went "but it's after the deadline", yeah, but bf was sick for 3 weeks He's working in a stupid corpo, and instead of just glancing over the performance and experience of employees', they told them "if you want a permanent contract (they mostly work on mandate contracts there, because the company's policy is stupid), give us your CV and cover letter". The entire company is international and they mostly operate and work in English, so the letter had to be in English.
They still didn't consider his application, even though he's the best employee on the project, he's been there the longest among the guys who applied also, and his performance is 3 times better than any other person's on the project. Besides he's had good job experience from previous workplaces, unlike others. But they still didn't consider him, because he was late with the letter because of his sickness. So he's depressed now, because he feels unappreciated. He was trying really hard since the first day, he's been patiently waiting for any kind of recognition, and the two guys who aren't as good as he is got the permanent contracts (even though they've both been working there shorter than him, which is insane on its own, usually the persons who are working the longest get the perm contracts first).
So it's a huge injustice and he's all like"fuck it, I'm not trying anymore, I'm leaving this place unless they offer me something good, and I don't mean just a perm contract or promises like 'you'll get it in two or so months'." It's sad, because he likes the job and he likes his co-workers, but he's just ambitious and he'd like to climb higher, develop himself, learn something new. He's suffocating there.

I passed the exam on Wednesday I wasn't even prepared from what she was asking me (stupid oral exam) and I'm not a good talker (could've said so many things so much better), but I still got a better grade than I expected (I just wanted the one that would let me pass XD) so I'm very happy ^^ Now I just have to do the run about libraries and defend my thesis (hopefully) and I'll be done with that education, because man, it ain't my thing XP

I know, defending my thesis will be scary! I don't even know how to prepare myself, as far as I know they can ask my basically anything that touches my topic or anything concerning my studies, so even Hindi grammar. Which is like, man, I can't remember a thing -.-;

I think you were making sense it's just that I don't really understand how jobs work in different countries. Or maybe it's just the kind of job you're talking about.

I don't know how you would prepare either. I would focus on any controversial details. That people might argue with your opinion on?
