Outline: Yikes... there was another school shooting too.. not sure where tho. 3 dead, a student, a teacher and the shooter. 6 others were injured. Nothing released yet about why she shot people, but she was apparently a student there at that school..

Seems like it's not a good era to be a teacher or a student >->

Demonskid: The shooting was near one of my family members (no one involved thankfully) but it was in Wisconsin at a Christian school. Depressing.

Golden: Glad they weren't involved... Sad to hear about all the school shootings though... it never ends. QnQ

Too much gun violence.

Definitely not a good era for schools. My son is bullied relentlessly and he's starting to make threats to hurt his classmates if they don't stop, and the fact he's already been put in the hospital because a bully snapped his arm in two like a pencil doesn't help his growing anger problems. The teachers at his school don't care and just let him get picked on, his father calls him a liar and says he's not being bullied, and his therapist's manager called to tell me that they didn't need to know about the abuse at home or school because it was "irrelevant to his mental and emotional health". The sooner I can get custody of him and pull him out of that school (and away from that "doctor"), the better. I'm genuinely worried it's a matter of time before my baby is on the news or worse because he finally snapped.

where did this doctor get their medical degree... abuse and bullying are a big reason mental health issues exist.. >:x

Ohhhh, if I get custody, I will absolutely be having a discussion with those quacks. My first assumption with any kid on the news is that they got pushed too far. Stopping bullying at home or at school or wherever should be a priority, not only for their own safety, but now for the safety of others as well.

No one cares enough about bullying. "Grow thicker skin" is their favorite response to bullying.

I use to dream of shoving aerosol cans into the school furnace to make the school blow up... never did it thankfully. Did enjoy the time someone set the boy's bathroom on fire tho. xD
