Math and science were the only subjects that I truly knew what I was doing in school. The rest of it was a struggle to survive.

History was nearly my downfall every year. Memorizing names and dates is not for me.

ugh, names and dates. i suck at those too. xD;; actually really what am i good at, apart from reading? pft

That was my other downfall. So many soft rules in literature.

i like writing......as long as it was for something enjoyable like poetry and stories and stuff. i hated doing essays.

I love history, reading, and writing. But not so much in an academic setting. History is one of my favorite things but in early school, it's so much about date memorization that it sucks the fun out of it. History should be about the stories and the people! And writing something besides a school paper will always be more fun too.

yeah if it was learning about history without the dates and not in an academic setting, i don't mind learning. like reading those historical plaque things in front of historical buildings. xD;;

That’s fair. History stories and events are more interesting when you don’t have to focus in memorizing dates.

exactly. learning about that kind of stuff is kinda dry. that's why i prefer learning about historical events without having to worry about numbers. xD
