I went so much as a little kid and in the end developed a kind of phobia. I mean, for a 4 years old kid, treating a cavity without any kind of painkiller, it's kind of hard to deal with normally.
My husband had to sit with me or I just wouldn't go and I ended up crying.

That being said, everyone was adorable with me and I'm still going to that dentist.

My dentist was kind of a sadist.

Well, the hubby did support me but he's still laughing because he's never met someone my age who'd cry about going to the dentist.
I guess that might be indeed surprising since I've never cried before him before, of all the things I could cry about. Oh well, at least one of us is laughing.

All of this talk reminds me I should go and get my teeth checked. Now that I can go without crying XD

A full and proper dentist? Never been
A dental hygienist in training? Yes, my cousin is one and several of us got to be her Guinea pigs for her college classes or whatever

That would have been way too scary for me.

I broke one of their machines cuz the other made me choke LOL

At the same time everyone needs to start somewhere.

I hate choking when I'm at the dentist and I do that quite a lot. It's part of the reason why I hate it;

My dentist passed away I think last January. It really depressed me. He was the best and I was always relaxed around him. I never had pain after the Novocain wore off. But he was my dad's dentist, so he was no spring chicken. I do have a new dentist, and he's not bad. He's not the same, but he does a really good job.

I mean, he took out a wisdom tooth and I had absolutely no pain after. And here I thought I would die of pain.

My first doctor died as well, he was so good with vaccinations I have never been afraid even as a kid. And he actually listened.
The last doctor I went to see, when I told him I was worried about rapidly loosing weight he told me I was still a normal weight so it was nothing worth worrying about. I had been loosing 5kg in a month. Still kinda pissed off.
Anyway, that's the last time I've seen him.
