But yup, I'd totally freeze in a second. If I was a pet, I'd totally be a cat XD

I'd be the cat that sleeps all the time and demands hands that pet me at all times as well. And I'd totally do a lot to get petted XD

Many cat in the snow videos show them having fun. LOL And the cats of my childhood had a blast with it too.

I've also seen small dogs and ferrets and turkeys... I guess most small pets that you can trust to come back to you or be caught again, be used for those videos. Even a bunny or two.

I think this might be a onesided perspective: Of course you would only film a cat and upload the video if it was having fun and the video was funny. But if you open the door, your cat sees the snow and turns right back thinking "Mhe, what is this gross wet suff?", you would not film it or upload it as there is nothing to see. And I suspect that this is the behavior of the majority of cats. You just don't get to see it, as it's boring.

I know most dogs seem to love snow (mine don't by the way), but I really don't think it's a common cat thing.

I guess it'd depend if it's a indoor or outdoor or both kind of cat and what they're like in personality too
