True. But I find most things either creepy or interesting or both.

Or...interesting but scary. Like Replicators from stargate.

Or the wraith from stargate. Those are creepy interesting. The backstory is intense.

Tam - does that mean you have to wear glasses that are made of the more plastic kind of frame than metal if you wore glasses?

*pause* *looks at glasses* Huh. I never even thought of that. But even my wire frames DO have plastic arms, and those little rubber nose pads. I guess the previous frames must have too, because I haven't had those parts break. And I have a wide head that the arms press against, too.

I also tend to dissolve all metals but silver. Literally. Rings get real thin, real fast.
That actually reminds me of a character I made up, tell me more XD I never thought of silver though, that's hella inspiring :mcargh: /superpowers-nerd

I also turn the nose pieces of wire glasses green, if they touch me. And I think I've had them get thin and break too. But I think I've usually gone with ones where most of the metal doesn't touch me. ONE of my silver sleeper earrings has turned black, but the other is still shiny. I'm not sure why, because I don't even sleep on the side of the earring that's blackened, so it hasn't had more contact with me than the other.

Usually, though, I say my super power is being invisible.

Sounds like a reaction of sorts. The green thing reminds me of when copper can turn the skin green and the copper itself can also go green.

But metal going black....maybe the coating came off?

Also nose pieces of glasses you mean the plastic bits? That would probably be gunk/skin, etc. You can unscrew them if you have a small enough screwdriver/flathead and then clean them..

unless you mean the bit of metal holding the nose pieces?

Yeah. The metal corroded. And as for the silver earrings, does the silver that isn't supposed to tarnish have stuff on it that could wear off?

Silver can tarnish to black I think.

So you have to like polish it every so often and stuff. My engagement ring needs cleaning again.

Have you considered metals like titanium and such?
