So my hands are small, but Monday night there was a spider with it's body about as big as my hand.

Hanging about on the back of the front door. So I texted Peter saying I'm not opening the door for him because of how creepy it is.

He didn't believe me till he saw it.

It ended up on the wall then as soon as it was on the ceiling Peter sprayed it. Basically this spider had a big butt. Also it did a weird split thing at one point. Took a while to die and as it died on the floor, because it tried to go up it's web back to the ceiling but Peter spray it a bit more, it stuck a leg out which I classed as giving us the finger.

In the end I finally vacuumed it up today. I think I shall ask Peter if he will empty the vacuum for me... =/ cause you know how spiders when they die they curl up really tight and small? This one's butt was still sticking out and it didn't curl up tight and small it just curled up but still fat.

You just made me love the Canadian jumping spiders and wolf spiders all the more. They're small, and they eat the creepy things that try to bite me. And jumping spiders wear dewdrop hats.

I hate spiders.

Was it a huntsmen River? Brown and furry. Oh god, you would hate the time spider eggs hatched and they sough shelter on our kitchen ceiling. I was traumatised for months and now every time I see a baby spider in the house I immediately check the ceiling.

My boyfriend insists on not killing giant spiders (mostly huntsmen) and just letting it live in the house because they eat the bugs. It still creeps me out really badly.

I don't think it was a huntsmen.

But it was brown just not furry. With a big butt.



Ah I killed one a month or so ago, it was fat also, it was a mummy spider and so I drowned her and her babies on the floor.

I really don't like creepy things.

Also just about half hour ago we have this big like grasshopper thing but it has antennae and like six legs but it's stuck in the lace curtain so we're just leaving it alone and hope it stays there and dies eventually.

With big black teddy bear eyes that look up at you so seriously and worriedly as it sticks its little front foot in its mouth and thinks of how to run away.

Of course I come here and there's a spider convo I'm traumatised just be reading back... Why did I do that?
