Have you discovered new things you like a lot then, Julez? I'm curious for some recommendations now :)

I listen to Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., a lot of 80s-90s some 50s-60s. And a few more recent. But not very. And I dropped most of rap music. If you want a fun song listen to The Irish Rovers - The Unicorn Song. Once you hear it, you may not get it out of your head. XD

I grew up on Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra among others :)
I still distinctly remember we had one tape always lying around in the car that was somehow self-recorded and just labelled "Dean Martin + Frank Sinatra" :D
Haven't actively listened to them in a long time though.
I don't know Sammy Davis Jr., maybe I should check that out :)
Listening to the Unicorn song right now, I can see how one might get that stuck in the head :D

It's not like I discovered unknown artists, but when it comes to Rock/Hardcore stuff I recommend

If you ever watched Willy Wanka and the Chocolate factory, they sing a song called the Candy Man. That's Sammy's. I can't remember why, but they decided not to use him to sing the song in the movie.

Yes. Sometimes I can remember the lyrics of the Unicorn Song and sometimes just a few.

I love the guys of the rat pack because some of the Vegas places they were going to play told Sammy he had to go through the back instead of the front with the rest of the group and the others told the Vegas show owner that he either walks in the front with them or they don't preform at all. And sometimes they'd up and walk away from doing the show.

Did you know most of the time Dean Martin was not drunk. He only pretended and was drinking Apple Juice.

I tried not to make music a huge part of my life because I've known since I was a Child that id end up deaf. I have the vaguest idea of what you guys are talking about. xD

It's lyrics from High Adventure from Disney's Broadway Aladdin. The first time I heard those lyrics I about died laughing! Then I had to share with my mom and we both wish Disney went with the three friends of Aladdin instead of Abu.

I cannot really tell what my favourite lyrics are. I usually love the overall musical composition consisting of sounds, lyrics, rhythm etc. alltogether, so I kinda do not pay attention to its constituents.
