Once that report is in though that'll be it for you? aside from that project ofc you talked about earlier ;o
does your bf have more exams than you so you have to wait for him to finish? Burgers sound delish ~ my bff and I also had a long tradition of going out to eat to celebrate the end of an exam period c':

Once that report is through, I'll have to wait for grades before I can then (hopefully) start my masters thesis. I should start organising that then.
No, he actually only had one big project this semester (which I also had), but the grade for that is probably still going to take a while... It's a lot of students and they're only 4 people grading and it was like 20-35 pages of report + a bunch of code and data they might look at if they think something in the report is weird. So we'll probably mostly be waiting for that...

so right now you can stay home? Does he still have to turn it in or present it or is he also just waiting to hear his grade now?

He's just been waiting since before Christmas, when we had to hand that in.
And yeah, I can stay home right now :) Just need to upload that report online, no need to go to the uni anymore until I schedule some meetings with people to discuss thesis topics :)

Yes! It's coming along nicely, I assembled the pocket pieces last night and hopefully will manage to attach them to the skirt later. And I was grocery shopping just now and also got the rest of the stuff I still needed from the craft store :)

its really coming along then, lovely c:
I'm maybe going to see if I can find a good store tomorrow to look for some cute lace, but I don't think there's a specific fabric store in the city only a general accessory chain store that has some knitting and sewing basics. They never have anything fancy

Yeah, for fabrics it's difficult here as well. I looked for some fabric for a shirt I'm thinking of making next, but they didn't have anything even close to what I was looking for. Our local craft store is good for little tools and for yarn, but really not for fabric or patterns.

I always wait for a fabric market/expo to be held to make a big haul c':
its held bi-yearly and spans over an entire hall and you can usually find some more special fabrics and lace, and get good deals on them too!
I held off on going last time though cause I hadn't used any of my earlier bought fabric yet and I just knew if I went I'd only buy more. I can't just go round all the fabrics and stick to just looking!

Ohhhh, that sounds like an awesome event! :)
But yeah, it sounds like it would be difficult to not go home with a bunch of new projects ;)
I end up just ordering fabric online or buying it when I'm travelling most of the time. Like, the one I'm making the skirt from right now I bought when I was visiting my grandma in a larger city. And for the shirt I think I'll order some fabric now... I found a site where you can order some small test pieces first free of charge, so I think I'm gonna do that :)
