I see :)
Actually, about the blouses... I was wondering, since I've been looking for some shirts to wear under my underbust corset and it's not super easy to find things that really work for that. Do you think I could find things that work for that in the lolita area? The trouble is that it shouldn't be too decorated in the lower parts that end up beneath the corset, since that'd be uncomfortable. But I could imagine that shirts designed to be worn under dresses might be a possibility? What would be the term for what I'm looking for, if it exists and has a distinctive name?

Most lolita cutsews and blouses do have most of their decorative frills and collars on the top part, as the bottoms are either supposed to be under a dress or tucked into a skirt. Rarely a brand will come out with a blouse that is meant to be worn over a skirt but even then the decoration etc on the lower part of the blouse is still minimal.
I think it'd depend on what kind of material you're looking for? I don't think there are specific terms for that, as in a specific name for an underbust corset blouse o;
I'd say have a look at blouses and cutsews on any lolita site. When you see something that makes you go 'oh like this!' you can look if the item has a specific name?

I saw quite a lot with frills going down to the bottom of the blouse when I was browsing through on lace market just now, but if you think that there are decent chances of finding something that is plain on the bottom then I'll look some more when I find the time :)
I just thought I'd ask if you knew about a specific term I should be looking for, since I have no idea about any of them and it seems like there is quite a lot of special terminology around lolita :)
But if I find anything I'll definitely look for what they call it, that's a good idea!

I think you'll have more luck with cutsews, as unlike blouses they don't tend to have buttons, at least not functional! So as there's no row of buttons there's no row of frills alongside those buttons ;P

Ok, then that sounds like I want to look for cutsews then :) See, learned a term that'll help me ;) :)
No buttons definitely seems like the way to go.

Yeah I can't imagine a blouse with buttons to be comfortable with a corset haha
some cotton cutsews are really nice and soft, so they're probably better :P

Not really, no :D Soft does sound good :) Curious to see whether I'll find any that I like!
120 slides left to go through for today, before I can really spend any lengthened periods of time online shopping though ;)

You can do it! It's nice to look forward to as a reward but of course unfortunately the work has to come first haha for it to really be a reward :'P
But I believe in you ~

Yeah, that is true ;)
I like setting myself little rewards for getting to point x with the work. It's by far the best way to motivate me, short of actual deadline being super close.
I do get to browse a bit again already in 20 slides ;) :P
Thank you :)

I knew classmates who always did the opposite and said 'I'm just going to do this and then I'm going to study!'
that definitely wouldn't work for me haha c':
deadlines usually did the trick just fine, and I'd always tell myself 'you need to spend x amount of time on this or that today' and I'd meet those settings either in separate blocks of time or in one go
