I would make a new thread! Someone who is used to thinking of your old thread as "people just chat there" might not realize in time to properly enter if you reuse it for the new thing. Does that make sense?
You can always quote your old stuff and copy/paste then edit, for formatting ease. So you don't lose that ability.....
On the other hand, if you want to go for the longest thread in that forum, lol, then reusing the old one is a smart move. ;)

I mostly figured that I don't want to monopolize the contest thread haha, I think maybe some people could think 'ugh does she have to make a new thread everytime for a contest when she already has x threads on the first page!' like am I just imagining things/being too self conscious or...? :'x

jacob, that makes sense, and I get that you wanted it to start low to get people invested in the story at first, but yeah... I guess there just didn't develop enough activity in the thread, if a few people were chatting in there and could coordinate to clear a chapter together it might work out better. Or generally, if more people were contributing, it would be easier to make it worth your while without it getting too expensive for people to continue supporting.

And new WK? I need to go see too!
